Daley 7 is a private advisory practice for founders and owners of established businesses. This page sets out what we sell, how it is delivered and billed, how refunds and cancellations are handled, and how your information is treated.

It governs every purchase made from Daley 7 and its member groups, Daley Founders and Daley Bread. Where a specific engagement has its own written agreement, that agreement governs the engagement.

I

What we sell

Section 01 · 08

Daley 7 provides management advisory and consulting services to founders and owners of established, operating businesses. Services are delivered personally by Paul Daley, a former chief executive and operating partner, and are priced and billed in United States dollars (USD).

ServiceBilling
Advisory retainerScheduled private sessions with written counsel between sessionsRecurring, every four weeks
Fixed-term advisory engagementA defined scope over a defined number of weeksDeposit, then installments
Diagnostic reviewA written assessment of your business against a published scorecardOne-time
Member advisory groupScheduled group sessions, a study, and a library of recorded briefingsRecurring, monthly or annual
What we do not sell

We do not sell courses, software, or any product that promises a financial result. Our services are professional advice and time. No outcome, revenue figure or return is guaranteed, and we do not accept clients on the basis of one.

Pricing

The exact scope, price and billing schedule for any purchase are stated to you in writing before you pay and confirmed in the receipt you receive from Stripe. There are no hidden fees, trials that convert without notice, or prices that change without written notice.

II

How services are delivered

Section 02 · 08

Everything we sell is a service. Nothing is shipped.

  1. 1Sessions are held by video conference (Google Meet or similar) at times agreed with you, and are recorded for your reference.
  2. 2Between sessions, counsel is provided in writing through a private channel you are invited to at enrollment — Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage or a member portal, depending on the engagement.
  3. 3Written deliverables and recordings are delivered digitally through a shared document, the member portal or the private channel.
  4. 4Access to a retainer or member group begins at the first successful payment and continues for as long as the subscription is active.
  5. 5Diagnostic reviews are delivered within the timeframe stated at purchase, which depends on you supplying the information requested. If you do not supply it, the review is paused until you do.
III

Billing

Section 03 · 08

Payments are processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection. Daley 7 never sees or stores your card number. Depending on which service you purchased, the charge appears on your statement under one of the following descriptors.

Statement descriptorService
DALEY7Advisory retainers, engagements, diagnostic reviews
DALEY FOUNDERSMember advisory group
DALEY BREADStudy membership
Recurring engagements

Advisory retainers are billed in advance at the start of each four-week cycle, not per calendar month — thirteen cycles in a year. You are told the per-cycle rate in writing before you enroll. Member groups are billed in advance monthly or annually as stated at checkout, and every renewal is at the price you agreed to.

Fixed-term engagements

A deposit secures your place and is non-refundable. The balance is billed on the installment schedule agreed in writing at enrollment.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, access to calls and channels is paused until it is resolved. We will attempt to reach you before removing access. A subscription with an unresolved failed payment is cancelled, not retried indefinitely.

Price changes

The rate you enroll at is held for the duration of your engagement or membership. If a rate changes, you are notified in writing at least one billing cycle before it applies.

IV

Refund policy

Section 04 · 08

The rules below are the same for every client and are presented to you at checkout before you pay.

New engagements carry a fourteen-day refund period.

On your first purchase of any Daley 7 service, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of the charge or before your second scheduled session, whichever comes first. No reason is required.

After the fourteen-day period

Because our services are delivered live and consume scheduled time, payments for a billing cycle that has already begun are not refunded. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the cycle you have paid for and are not billed again. Unused sessions within a cycle are not refunded or credited.

Fixed-term engagements

The fourteen-day period applies to the deposit and any installment paid within it. After that, installments already paid are not refunded, and installments still due remain payable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Diagnostic reviews

Refundable in full within fourteen days of purchase, provided the written review has not yet been delivered. Once delivered, the purchase is non-refundable.

Our error

If you are charged incorrectly, charged twice, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, the error is refunded in full as soon as we are made aware of it, regardless of timing.

How to request a refund

Email paul@daleycap.com with the name on the account and the date of the charge. You will receive a written reply within two business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten business days of approval; your bank may take a few additional days to post it.

Please contact us before raising a dispute with your card issuer. We resolve billing questions directly and quickly, and a refund request is always answered faster than a dispute.

V

Cancellation

Section 05 · 08

You may cancel a retainer or member group at any time. There are no cancellation fees and no minimum term unless one was stated in writing when you enrolled.

  1. 1To cancel, email paul@daleycap.com or message us in your private channel. Cancellation is confirmed in writing within two business days, and you can also manage a subscription from the link in any Stripe receipt.
  2. 2Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle. You are not billed again after that.
  3. 3Where a member group offers a founding or introductory rate, that rate is forfeited on cancellation and is not restored on re-enrollment.
  4. 4Daley 7 may end an engagement if its terms are not met, including non-payment or conduct that harms other members. In that case you are refunded for any full, unused cycles already paid.
VI

Terms of service

Section 06 · 08

By purchasing from Daley 7 you agree to the following.

Nature of the service

Daley 7 provides professional advisory services based on the operating experience of Paul Daley. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice, and it is not a guarantee of any business result. You remain responsible for the decisions you make in your own company.

Who we work with

Our services are for owners and executives of operating businesses. We do not sell to consumers, and we may decline or end an engagement where the fit is wrong.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your business, to attend scheduled sessions or give reasonable notice, and to keep payment details current.

Confidentiality

What you share with Daley 7 about your business is kept confidential and is not shared with other clients or third parties except as needed to deliver the service. In member groups, what other members share is to be treated the same way by you.

Intellectual property

Frameworks, recordings, documents and briefings provided to you are licensed for your own use and your company's internal use. They may not be resold, republished or redistributed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daley 7's total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.

Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Changes do not apply retroactively to engagements already in progress.

VII

Privacy policy

Section 07 · 08
What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number, company details and billing information you provide at purchase, plus the information you share with us during the engagement.

How it is used

To deliver the service you purchased, to bill you, to communicate with you about your engagement, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Payment data

Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by Daley 7. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Service providers

We use third-party tools to run the practice, including Stripe for payments, Google Workspace for email and video calls, and messaging and member platforms for client channels. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.

Retention and your rights

Engagement records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal record-keeping requirements. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask that it be corrected or deleted, by emailing paul@daleycap.com.
